How will I know when puberty starts?

Puberty usually begins between ages 9 and 13 for girls and ages 10 and 14 for guys. If you are around this age, it could be that the process has already started. Besides being the right age, you’ll know puberty is starting when you see your body changing in new ways. You may also experience different emotions than you usually do. Or, you may suddenly become more interested in the opposite sex – especially in a romantic sort of way.
