What are hormones, anyway?
Hormones are chemicals produced in the body. They flow through the blood and are responsible for a lot of what our body does. Hormones help start the process of puberty – they cause hair growth, breast and testicle development, pimples, and emotional changes, among other things. Testosterone is the main hormone at work during puberty in guys, and estrogen and progesterone are at work in girls.
Oxytocin, epinenphrine and dopamine are hormones at work during sexual activity. Find out how here.
