Why do guys act like jerks sometimes?

Guys don’t always know how to express themselves.  They don’t know how to talk about how they feel.  Sometimes guys will act this way just to get your attention.  Other times, they want to let you know how they feel, for example, when they are mad, frustrated or nervous.  Instead of telling you how they feel, they act like “jerks” because this gets your attention.  Maybe once they get your attention, you will notice something is wrong and help them talk about it.
