“If I only knew then, what I know now….”

Wow, I can’t believe my son is a sixth grader!!!
It seems like just yesterday, when I was sitting down in that basement….myself, only a sixth grader… I haven’t been blessed with daughters, but if I had, I would tell them exactly what I tell you, “Be protective of yourself, listen to those red flags, and do not let anyone choose your boundaries for you. Remember every piece you give away, you will not get back, and it takes a long time to put those pieces back together. The ripple effect of your decisions, today, last longer than you can imagine.
I have been blessed to be married to my husband, Rick, for the last seventeen years. We have two boys, Michael 11, and Matthew 8.
We just got back from a seven day cruise to Paradise Island, Bahamas, showing our kids, where we were married. Rick has been my rock. He has been forgiving, patient, and committed. I pray that you find someone as caring and kind. Be patient and protect yourself.
It is worth the wait!!!
